O aumento do imposto, ocorrido em mar\u00e7o deste ano, obteve o \u00fanico voto contr\u00e1rio do deputado estadual Professor J\u00fanior Geo e, deste ent\u00e3o, o parlamentar se mant\u00e9m incisivo na luta pela redu\u00e7\u00e3o do imposto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00danico deputado a se posicionar contr\u00e1rio<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No dia 22 de mar\u00e7o, os deputados votaram em plen\u00e1rio a Medida Provis\u00f3ria n\u00ba 33 de 2022, que alterou o C\u00f3digo Tribut\u00e1rio do Estado do Tocantins que pautava o aumento. Geo, \u00e0 \u00e9poca, se posicionou duramente contr\u00e1rio a essa mat\u00e9ria tanto nas comiss\u00f5es, como em sess\u00e3o ordin\u00e1ria. Na ocasi\u00e3o, o parlamentar destacou a inconstitucionalidade da MP, visto que o reajuste n\u00e3o cumpre a norma constitucional, que determina o aumento de tributos s\u00f3 a partir de 2024.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ap\u00f3s a aprova\u00e7\u00e3o do aumento, em abril, o Professor J\u00fanior Geo solicitou, junto a A\u00e7\u00e3o Direta de Inconstitucionalidade n\u00ba 7375 (ADI), a habilita\u00e7\u00e3o para atuar no processo que pede a inconstitucionalidade da Lei 4.141\/23, para buscar reverter o aumento indevido do imposto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cMe manifestei contr\u00e1rio a essa mat\u00e9ria desde a sua chegada na Casa de Leis. Estou como deputado com o objetivo de representar os interesses da sociedade, a estabilidade jur\u00eddica e a garantia da manuten\u00e7\u00e3o dos investimentos no Estado. A minha insist\u00eancia \u00e9 para que esse aumento ocorra da forma correta.
